"Childhood Inspirations"

Join the Friends of the Lancaster Public Library for our after-hours First Friday for Families!  This month we feature local, up-and-coming artist, Matt Klingelhoefer.  His works are one-of-a-kind originals in keeping with his belief that all art works are unique.  Matt gathers his inspirations by entering a child-like state of uninhibited thought and freedom from the worries of the world that childhood nurtures.  His works are strongly influenced by the works of Jean Michel Basquiat, Keith Haring and Graffiti whom he admires for their ability to enter a child-like, artistic state of mind.

Our children’s activity will be celebrating “Read Across America!”, with local public service employees and volunteers reading their favorite children’s stories in our family story-telling area!  We would love to have you and your family join us!
