NONPROFIT INFORMATION

 

The Duke Street Business Center at Lancaster Public Library, staffed by a professional reference librarian, can be your source for authoritative and up-to-date resources for nonprofit management and fundraising including:

 

  • -Current print reference directories and resources   
  •  
  • -Books on all facets of nonprofit startup and operation available to loan
  •  
  • -In-library access to the Foundation Directory Online and Foundation Grants to Individuals databases
  •  

Search the Library System of Lancaster County Online Catalog for specific topics of interest.  Nonprofit titles housed in the DSBC will appear with “Duke Street Business Center” as the location and “Nonprofit Coll” after the call number.  Online e-reserves for non-reference titles, including those held by other libraries in the system, can be placed by following the instructions on the online catalog search screen.

Lancaster Public Library is a Foundation Center Cooperating Collection.

The Duke Street Business Center houses the LeadWell Nonprofit Information Collection.

 

In addition, training seminars and networking events specific to the nonprofit community are offered on a periodic basis by the Duke Street Business Center.
