With your library card, you can borrow from a collection of thousands of DVDs including feature films, foreign films, how-tos, documentaries, popular TV series, and childrens programs as well as thousands of audiobooks and music CDs.

 

New! Freegal® Music and Movies

Freegal® Music and Movies are free services from the Lancaster Public Library. All you need is your library card number. Freegal® Music offers access to about 7 million songs, including Sony Music’s catalog of legendary artists. In total the collection is comprised of music from over 28,000 labels with music that originates in over 80 countries. There is no software to download, and there are no digital rights management (DRM) restrictions. Access to Freegal is limited to patrons of subscribing libraries.

Under the terms of the agreement, registered cardholders of the Lancaster Public Library can download three Freegal® Music MP3 files each week at no direct cost via http://lancasterlibpa.freegalmusic.com.

Cardholders can also access the Freegal®Movies Service via http://lancasterlibpa.freegalmovies.com. Cardholders can watch three different movies or television episodes each week, which is defined as from 12:01 AM on Monday (Eastern Time) to 12 midnight on Sunday (Eastern Time). Each selection carries with it, a 48 hour viewing period. During that 48 hour period you may watch that selection multiple times.
